Installation Instructions
Thank you for downloading Busymate Desktop!
Follow the steps below to complete your installation:
Windows Installation
1. Run the Installer
Locate the downloaded .exe file (usually in Downloads folder) and double-click to run. If Windows SmartScreen appears, click 'More info' then 'Run anyway'.
2. Follow Setup Wizard
Click 'Next' through the installation wizard. Choose installation location (default is recommended). Click 'Install' and wait for completion.
3. Launch Busymate Desktop
Check 'Launch Busymate Desktop' and click 'Finish'. The app will open automatically. Sign in with your BusyDrivers account.
4. Install Phone Drivers (First Time Only)
The app will prompt to install necessary phone drivers for iPhone connectivity. Click 'Install Drivers' and follow the prompts. This is a one-time setup.
macOS Installation
1. Open the DMG File
Locate the downloaded .dmg file and double-click to mount it. A new window will appear showing the Busymate Desktop icon.
2. Drag to Applications
Drag the Busymate Desktop icon to the Applications folder shortcut in the same window. Wait for the copy to complete.
3. Launch the App
Open Applications folder and double-click Busymate Desktop. If you see 'unidentified developer' warning, right-click the app and select 'Open', then click 'Open' in the dialog.
4. Grant Permissions
macOS will ask for several permissions (USB access, accessibility). Click 'OK' for each prompt. These are required for phone connectivity and automation.
Linux Installation
1. Extract the Archive
Open Terminal and navigate to Downloads: cd ~/Downloads. Extract using: tar -xzf busymate-desktop-linux.tar.gz
2. Run Installation Script
Navigate to extracted folder: cd busymate-desktop. Run installer: sudo ./install.sh. Enter your password when prompted.
3. Install Dependencies
The installer will check for required dependencies and install them if missing. This includes usbmuxd (for iPhone) and other libraries.
4. Launch Busymate Desktop
Run from Terminal: busymate-desktop, or find it in your application menu under 'Internet' or 'Utilities'. Sign in with your BusyDrivers account.
Next Steps After Installation
Connect Your Phone
Plug in your iPhone via USB. Enable Developer Mode (Settings > Privacy & Security > Developer Mode). Trust your computer when prompted on the phone.
Configure Automation
Set your smart filters (minimum pay, distance, zones). Choose which delivery apps to monitor. Set your automation schedule.
Start Earning
Click 'Start Automation' in the dashboard. Busymate Desktop will begin monitoring and accepting offers. Monitor your earnings in real-time.
